Parent Teacher Organization
Our parents are active, contributing members of the NHA community. Every parent with a student at NHA is a member of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The parents meet on a regular basis to discuss concerns, get questions answered, and assist the school in a myriad of ways. Parents are asked to share their talents and be seen at school so that they model for their child that school is an important and valuable place to be.

Board of Directors
The volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of a small number of current parents, parents who previously had students at NHA, and community citizens who oversee the development of policy at NHA. The Board is responsible for hiring the Executive Director who in turn is responsible for the daily functioning of the Academy. The Board meets monthly throughout the school year.
